Child Safety Standards

Effective Date: June 10, 2026

Umamin has a zero-tolerance approach to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and to child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards explain what is prohibited on Umamin, how we work to prevent it, how to report it, and how we respond. They apply to everyone who uses Umamin.

1. Our Commitment

We prohibit CSAE and CSAM anywhere on Umamin. We do not tolerate any content, conduct, or use of our platform that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits children, and we act on it whenever we become aware of it. Protecting minors is a condition of using Umamin, not an optional setting.

2. Scope

These standards apply across all of Umamin, including anonymous messages, the feed, notes, profiles, groups, and group chat, and to any account, link, or content created on the platform.

3. Prohibited Conduct and Content

The following are strictly prohibited on Umamin:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — any imagery, video, text, or other content that sexualizes minors, whether real, generated, or computer-generated.
• The sexualization of any person under 18, including sexually suggestive content involving minors.
• Grooming, sexual solicitation, or sextortion of a minor, or any attempt to do so.
• Trafficking, advertising, soliciting, sharing, requesting, or facilitating access to CSAM.
• Endangering a child or normalizing, promoting, or encouraging the sexual abuse or exploitation of children.

This applies regardless of whether content is sent anonymously, in private group chat, or posted publicly.

4. Minimum Age

Umamin is not directed to children. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use Umamin. Accounts that we identify as belonging to children below the minimum age may be removed.

5. How We Prevent and Detect Abuse

• Our Terms of Service prohibit illegal and exploitative content, and these standards are published and publicly accessible to everyone.
• Users can block any account and can configure blocked words so that messages containing them are discarded before delivery.
• We review reports of CSAE and CSAM that are submitted to us and take action on confirmed violations.
• Accounts found to be involved in CSAE are terminated, and we retain associated information as required to report to the relevant authorities.

6. How to Report

If you encounter CSAE or CSAM on Umamin, please report it to us immediately:

• Email our child safety team at umamin@omsimos.com with as much detail as you safely can — links, usernames, and a description. We monitor this inbox for child safety reports and treat them as a priority.
• In the app, you can block the account involved and add blocked words to stop further contact while we review.

Please do not download, save, or re-share suspected CSAM. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement first.

7. How We Respond

When we confirm a violation of these standards, we:

• Remove the offending content.
• Terminate the account(s) involved and may block the associated user from returning.
• Preserve relevant information as needed for reporting and investigation.
• Report confirmed CSAM and cooperate with the appropriate authorities (see Section 8).

8. Legal Compliance and NCMEC Reporting

We comply with applicable child safety laws and regulations. We maintain a process to report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through its CyberTipline (report.cybertip.org), or to the relevant authority in the reporter's jurisdiction, and we cooperate with law enforcement requests consistent with applicable law.

10. Updates to These Standards

We may update these standards from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page.
